Country music history
Musicians have long played violin music in the Appalachians, but it was not until 1927 that the first country music recording protocol recorded in Bristol, Tennessee was filmed. This year, Victor Records signed with Jimmie Rodgers and Carter Family.
Jimmie Rodgers was born in Meridian Mississippi in 1897. He initially worked on the railroad until his health improved, and it was only during this time that he followed his first entertainment pastimes. In 1927, he continued, Victor Records is building a portable studio and then heads there. He immediately signed and continued recording and playing music until he died in 1933.
In 1965, he became one of the first musicians to join the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1961, as well as Hank Williams and Fred Rose. The same day Jimmie Rodgers signed with Victor Records, the Carter family did the same, and he will be one of the most famous country music bands of all time. They stayed on Victor Records until 1936. Even the divorce could not separate the band, they continued recording with Decca until 1939. At this stage, things began to get difficult. Although Universal Pictures was signed, Victor Records was finally signed again. The band broke up in 1941.
As we all know, the important day of 1927 was to introduce country music to other parts of the country. Jimmy Rogers and the Carter family have received high praise and have become very popular in helping to sell a lot of records. Country music singers and today’s bands often talk about the Carter family or Jimmy Rogers as their main influence and a good reason.
