The West End of London Musicals

London’s theater scene is entertaining, glamorous and glitzy, and there are hundreds of performances going on. A few of the displays are still and the West End musicals, many of which are operating for decades sell out weeks beforehand. Following is a guide to a number of the favorites.

Blood Brothers
Theatre: Phoenix, Charing Cross Road
Run Since: November 1991
The summary of the run of this musical had limited success. The remake has become a cult classic and has proven quite popular. It is a captivating story of boys because their mother can not afford to maintain them from a Liverpool family that are separated at birth. So both lead very different lives, just to meet again in maturity with effects one is brought up from the mother company.

Chicago
Theatre: Cambridge Theatre
Run Since: April 2006
Summary: This tale of greed, murder, and corruption hires a lawyer to receive her acquitted to establish a dancing action with Velma that is partner-in-crime and also concentrates on the character. With songs like Razzle Dazzle and All That Jazz, it has been a hit.

Les Misérables
Theatre: Queen’s, Shaftesbury Avenue
Run Since: October 1985
Summary: In 2006, Les Misérables became the most longest-running musical on the planet. For 21 years it’s been keeping crowds captivated with its psychological and own dramatic tale of political societal and amorous chaos in 19th century Paris, adapted from the Victor Hugo novel. From rousing marches to 14, the score is excellent, moving.

Lion King
Theatre: Wellington Street, Lyceum
Run Since: October 1999
Review: Written by Tim Rice and Elton John, this superb version of the popular Disney cartoon has won six Tony awards and is a true stage magnificent, using a dazzling collection and amazing creature costumes. It is the story of a lion cub, heir.

Mamma Mia
Theatre: Prince of Wales Street
Run Since: June 2004
Summary: 1970s pop feeling the finest strikes of Abba are brought together in this fantastic medley. Melodies like Money Money Money, Dancing Queen and naturally Mamma Mia are sure to get audiences.

Phantom of the Opera
Theatre: Her Majesty’s, Haymarket
Run Since: October 1986
Review: Andrew Lloyd Webber’s most well known musical is a love story based on Gaston Leroux’s 19th-century romantic book about the goings-on behind the scenes at a Paris Opera House, in which a mystery guy in a mask falls in love with one of those opera singers. It is popular — so much so the theatre hasn’t had an Adirondack chair in twenty decades of performances, and has won many awards, including seven Tonys and the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Musical. Key topics from the musical would be the title bit Phantom of the Opera and the Music of the Night.
